Found More Rust . . .

Panel with the rust hole

Well, finishing up around the engine bay and front wheel wells and I discovered rust in the boxing section between the frame rails. It turns out that this closed in box is not sealed. Both the welds securing it at the top and the two holes for the clips to hold the rigid brake line (that comes from the right front with the four way and brake switch to the left front side) allow water to get in and rust the inside of the box. Boot area seam with bracing bent down for access

Have been working on the rear of the car for the last couple of weeks. There were small creases on the lower rear wings where the bumper contacted the body and a another larger dent in the rear license plate area. The latter dent was problematic as the brace between the boot floor and the top rear of the boot opening made it impossible to hammer out the dent. I initially tried using a stud puller in the area but the results weren't great so I broke down and cut through the top spot wends and ben...
