Hello,

I don't know much about gasket paper so this could be a daft question. I am going over my Armstrong lever shocks on my 100 and I need to replace the gasket as part of the process. The original looks quite thick to me and almost rubber like. I have some 0.8mm paper and wondered if this would do the job?

Cheers
Steve

In this case, I don't think the thickness matters as long as it keeps the fluid in. It's just the gasket under the flat cover, correct?

Yes, exactly. Thanks.

Sure thing. I've had luck making gaskets by copying an old one on a copier directly onto the gasket paper. Good luck.
