That would be somewhat close to the OEW, Check out the Porsche color "Elfenbein" as it is said to be an OEW match- just to see if Darling Daughter likes the color.

When we got this car it came with 3 good wheels and one that was badly cracked, also the spare is the wrong bolt pattern,4 tyres are too large and rub on the rear diff brackets and one of the front tyres was hitting the fender when we turned the wheel. Was able to find 2 good used wheels ,Spent this morning blasting and painting the wheels. The new tyres are waiting and hope to have them mounted Monday AM.Terry

Hi Ian and Tim, nothing exotic for paint just rust coat aluminum looks like the original .did sandblast the wheels first and Ian I put 155/80 R 13 for tyres. These do clear the diff brackets.Terry

Can't for the life of me get pics on here, but I can change my avatar???????????
My 1960 Australian Bugeye was in bright Monza red when I got it in 1998, but in the boot and elsewhere there was a deep red that I assumed was cherry red, so back to bare metal, prepped it and had the color matched in the boot and painted it......IMHO it looked fabulous.
The Australian experts tell me Australian Bugeyes were not in cherry red, only Monza red........Ah well.
My avatar might give you an idea how your Daughters finished car will look.
