Noticed you've changed it from LHD to RHD Allan like mine , which also came from California . Looking good in black or is it blue ?

Hi Yes,
Car is black and will have white wheels, white hardtop with red seats and interior.
You did make me smile when you said if paintshop stopped repairing customers damaged cars.
Because that is the same deal i did with my sprayshop.that they would do it as a hospital job for a low price.Well they had it 7 Months!!!!!!
Originally it was to be ready on my return fron New Plymouth,NZ but it dragged on,
Have spent a holiday in Sydney, what a beautiful place to live.
My favourite was Noosa though..
Your car also has an M Bonnett I see. I have a pair of HD 1.75 inch carbs to liven it up a bit.My target is now Easter,
Regards, Allan

Hi Allen
Had my first BN1 painted black , which looked magic , but be prepared to wash it every day !! My current restorers ears must be burning coz in the last three days they have really got stuck into it and today it goes on the rotisserie to have the chassis painted OEW and then all the body panels . Bottom coves will be lobelia blue with white wires . My car is a BN2 with all 100M specs including carbs , engine , bonnet strap , cold air box etc etc . It's been there for almost three years !!

Hi folks- new to this forum. Here's my latest long-term project-it's a 100 which was a drag car in New Mexico back in the 60's. It doesn't have much left but at least I saved it from the crusher. If anyone has any parts available to assist in the rebuild, please let me know!

Attached is a photo of my 53 BN1 body # 730' been in hibernation for 7 years, just needs a water pump change and new rubber and it will be back on the road, named the Redback Spider by my wife, appropriate here in South Australia, where these critters abound and can be quit deady if bites go untreated, I removed some nests from the car when I uncovered it.
My overdrive is now operational, wired in the BN 2 configuration, with out the centrifugal switch, and also without the throttle switch, as I never liked that contraption on the other Healeys I have owned.

Today I overhauled a early SU fuel pump off a early Jaguar, to fit to my BN1. I fitted a complete kit which included all parts plus the points set. It was a relatively easy job, and presto, it runs perfectly. The engineer who designed these pumps went to a lot of trouble, just to pump fuel. However, I have been driving British for 40 some years, and have never had one fail, so they are reliable, if a little complicated.

Wow nice, Simon! Has it been in storage for 30 years or just a very long restoration?
