I recently replaced the front motor mounts on my BN6 with mounts sourced from Moss Motors. On top of the mount is a "Rubber Buffer" that I also replaced. My questions is, "How should the rubber buffer be adjusted?" Should I add shims until it comes into contact with the engine mounting bracket? Thanks!

I found the answer to this question at Healey6.com. The gap between the buffer and the mount should be shimmed to .045". Jon
