Hi Bud,
This subject has come up many times on the forum. There is no simple answer, but if you look at the top of the page you will see "Search" with a magnifier in front of it. Just click on that and type in your question and you will find everything there. I wish it was easier but it is complicated. Good luck.

Hi Bud,
Here's a few pics and tips that might help:
- Be sure the dimples on the short tube on the back of the Signal Light Assembly line up with
the slot in the Stator Tube upon reassembly. The slot should be facing up. (see photo)
- At the other end of the of the Steering Column at the Steering Gearbox is a small brass nut with a brass olive,
this secures the Stator Tube inside the steering column. Do not lose these parts.
- Align the wires as shown so they can be pulled down the tube all at the same time with a length of wire.
You'll need a helper for this procedure as they will pull the wires and you will guide the SLA into the slot in the Stator Tube.
- The SLA is held in the hub by 3 set screws located around the periphery of the hub. (see photo)
- Take lots of photos before.
- Mark the wires religiously
As Dave mentioned there is more info on this site.
Good luck,
Peter
