how to attach the roof drainage channel? rivets/bolts/behind shroud??

Are you talking about the channel itself or the trim around it? I have mine apart but can find some pictures if that would help. I recall the channel itself is rivited to the rear shroud. If my memory serves me correctly the channel should be loose laid in place before the rear should is installed.

Took mine off a few months ago and it was pop riveted. Check the drain pipes are not split, mine were and the leaks basically rotted the car from the inside out. I'm using silicone pipe rather than rubber radiator hose which rots over time.
