I need a choke cable as well as all the connectors for a BT7. The car is actually a 57 100-6 but someone replaced the engine. It seems I have all the parts accept the choke cable. If anyone has one drop me a note.
Thanks

I have a '62 BT7. I used, and have used, bicycle universal brake and shifter cable sets. Usually about $10 or so. And will have more than you need. All most 2 sets. Some can be found in Target or Walmart. Or?
Look closely in pic attached. This is my current set of tried carbs using bike cables.
Good luck! And update us.

Now if you need just the Choke cable from the dash, then you can use any universal choke cable you can find. they are metal, and all aftermarket cables look the same and are not expensive. Moss or the like. Most any Auto parts stores will have these aswell.
Again, good luck. And have fun!

Thanks Scott
I have to check and see if I have the bracket shown in your post. This car with most of all that missing.
Thanks for your help. Also do you know of a site that describes how the trafficator is installed. It is pulled from the steering column.

Sumner,
Be aware of the different nomenclature on the choke knob.
Looking at the photo the one on the left is suppose to be an original BT7 design,
the one in the middle is for the BJ8 and on the right is a universal fit.
My intention was to use the original design but I forgot about the arrangement of the HD8 carbs on the engine,
Dum De Dum Dum... now I don't need this cable... so if you're interested send me a PM.
Regards,
Peter

Sumner,
If you need information on the trafficator there is plenty of information available. On the Forum tool bar type trafficator in the "SEARCH" function. There has been a lot of recent discussion on theis topic.
