Thanks Francis,
Never saw that before.
To bad they didn't show more of the car instead of the strangers.

hey Peter,

yes, I agree, I also want more HD than the strangers they show in this promofilm.

I don't get this - why would they put what looks like a 1975 UK number plate on a car from 1961-2, even with a James Bond 007 theme? The "Letter" suffix didn't start until 1963 in any event. It's a LHD with a UK plate too. It has a Mota-Lita steering wheel, although I don't know if they were factory option (I didn't think so) or dealer fitted. Finally the song wasn't released until 1970. Looks a bit dodgy to me!

This short film has been around for a while but it is not a BMC production and certainly not from 1962. As Andy says, the registration number is an anachronism and this style of Moto Lita steering wheel was not fitted by the factory. The Derrington wheel with the vertical top spoke was the style used in period. The Mark II had 48 spoke wheels, too.

This is actually a music video from 2007 for the band "Seven", hence the phony registration plate.

Here's the original video:

Here's the webpage of the band: http://www.sevenmusic.ch/

And here's the homepage of the director of photography who's done a few videos for Seven: https://vimeopro.com/ralphbaetschmann/music-video

Anyone notice that it looks like the car has chrome wires (never offered by the factory)?
