Bought a car with wire knock offs that I'm planning on using on my Bugeye (switching to Mini-Lites though).
The left rear "stub" is a little loose (with the wheel removed) and I noticed it took a few more "hits" to get the nut to loosen. All the others were fine.
I'm investigating a little deeper today but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays !

I was advised to buy new splines with my new wheels. Very pleased that I did.

The Moss site has some tips on evaluating the condition of splines - probably worth a read.

Moss site was informative David...researched a few more articles and sites on wire wheels....I'm going to stick with standard wheels.
Thanks !
