Started assembly on my 948, Jim Ford did an awesome job machining the block, if your in upstate NY and need LBC machine work he works at his own pace but does a great job and isn't too expensive. So far the .030 piston, crank, mild road cam, front and back plates and spin on oil filter adapter are back on. Tonight its off to Harbor Freight to buy a cheap valve spring compressor and water pump, clutch install and head assembly. Wish me luck...

Chuck, doing the same here in NC. Looking for a good engine block primer paint. Any suggestions? Thanks

Looking good Chuck! Consider lightening that original 948 flywheel. Some recent discussion on this opportunity here. BTW, what is that "mild road cam" ?
