I have essentially everything done on the engine at this point with the exception of finding and restoring a generator and fitting the oil pan. I cleaned up and painted the back-plate last night so that it is ready to go when the gearbox is finished.
My game plan over the winter is to go through the gearbox and carbs. Not having access to a heated shop limits me to tasks that I can tackle with basic tools so these projects fit the bill. I am hoping I can tear apart the gearbox, clean/inspect everything, and replace what is need without too much fuss. I've got my fingers crossed that I don't find anything too worn out in there.
Driving season is coming to an end as well which is always a bummer. I have had the MG out quite a bit this season (the most miles since we've owned it!) I am hoping I can get its winter storage set up before the weather gets too nasty as it sat outside under a cover last winter which wasn't ideal.
