Paid a visit to The Paint Shop in Winston-Salem today. Scott Winfield and his talented bunch have made significant progress on the 67 BJ8. It's actually starting to look like a car again.
They lack only one more rocker panel, a patch or two and a weld or three to begin paint prep. Replacement panels and fittings so far have been a combination of a few Moss Motors parts and custom metal work by Scott's crew.
You can see in the photos that fitment and panel alignment are excellent.
I'll be going back in about a month and a half to review paint samples with Scott before paint application starts. He has such an eye for color subtleties that I am planning to pay very close attention to his recommendations before finalizing and proceeding.
Even the aluminum needed some welding.
New trunk floor panel and passenger floor panel.
Die straight and flawless. Huge change from before.
