Overall that looks to be a great starting point for a rebuild. You'll have to assess the condition of the frame itself, but it's far better than mine was when I decided to resurrect it.

Spent the last 3 hours sorting and storing the bits that came with the car. After driving 500 K up and back, loading the car and parts ,when I got home just took everything off the trailer and truck and laid it wherever.Terry

Got the other healey today along with lots of extra bits. This one has an almost non existant frame, No front suspension or wheels and the diff is not attached to any thing. If the doors wernt fitted it would fold in half and almost has. However on the plus side has never been stripped and everything is still attached cept engine and tranny.the dash is in and intact ,,,almost,,, So it gives me something to go by for the other one. This one will need a complete chassis as well as all the body work .egine turns freely Has Windup windows and disc front brakes .Vin is HBJ7L/21777 .Im going to want to get a shop manual, any one recommend one ? Terry.

Search on 'Bentley Austin-Healey manual'

The link works for me (jet.com). Any idea why you can't get to it? Maybe it's a TinyURL problem; here's a direct link:

Terry, I can't access that site either but get the Workshop manual - Factory 6 Cyl, available from A H Spares GBP31.50 + VAT.
My ring binder loose leaf version, which looks to be the same thing, is decades old and is called the 100/6; MK1 - Mk111 workshop manual issued by BMC Service Ltd. It contains chassis alignment diagrams with dimensions.
Quite a project! Bill
