Hi all---Can anyone possibly advise on a BN-1 front Armstrong lever shock, which way does the piston with the rubber type seal go, (ie) into the upper, or lower bore. This unit was given to me stored in a sealed bag, having been dismantled many years ago, and the chap who did it cannot recall which way it went. I would like to re-assemble it. Thanks in advance-Peter.

Peter, you could try calling James at WW Shock Absorbers in Qld. 07 3265 2133
They rebuilt ours for us.

Failing that, you can always contact Peter Caldwell at peter@nosimport.com in the USA. He built us a set too.
