Not sure they were different. I have a BN1 lever on my work bench, along with an early BN2 and 100/6 level. Can you post a pic of what you have?

I may be wrong, since I have a BT7, but I thought the 100 gear levers have more of a bend, similar to a side shift on an early six cylinder car. the knob rested closer to the transmission tunnel. I'm sure a 100 owner will have the right answer.

I didn't take a measurement yet, but you can see the three different ones I have. Left is a BN1, middle is early BN2, right is late BN2 and onward side shift gearbox. I'll measure mine tonight and let you know. Pretty sure it's a LHD model.

My BN1 lever measures 16-1/2" from bottom to top.

G’day Mark,
I believe my gearshift lever is unmolested and it is straight, from the boot to the knob. There is a bend but it it below the level of the boot. Visible length is 11.625” from the boot to the start of the thread for the knob.
The second photo shows an original lever out of the car beside a shortened modified example. The longer, original one (which looks to have had an extra bend corrected) has a total length (including knob) of 19”. I measured the shortest length from tip to tip, ignoring the bend.
Cheers,
Alwyn
