Chevy Vegas were one of the very few cars that used a 4x4" bolt circle rather than the more common 4x100mm bolt circle. They were good for fitting wider tires to a Spridget.

Likely Corvairs as well as I have a set of deep dish wheels for Bugsy that are Sprite Center with Corvair Rims. Another Sprit Parts Car cane with a set of 13" RIMS turned inside out, mounted backwards, where entire tire stuck out beyond the fenders. Must have been very interesting running this one around the cones.

"Spridget Specs" in my Tech section lists quite a few 4on4 wheels.

Glas to see that you decided to leave the modification in place. Part of what I love about the old car hobby is the historical footnotes that show up in some cars. While the execution might vary, I like to try and imagine the thought process that went on as the previous owner went ahead with the custom touch.

The alloy trim bit looks like a piece of channel, wonder how they bent it to shape?
