Greetings to all,
I hope to find a nice driver quality Healey, like everyone I would prefer a no rust, minimal rust example. A car that can be driven. Unfortunately I still work for a living so I have a budget that is limited $35,000. maybe a little more for shipping. First question what kind of quality do you think I can obtain for this budget? am I in the ballpark? please send or forward any leads. thanks Tom. Oh and on the side I've restored a few cars and a few airplanes all as a hobby so I'm not afraid of wrench turning. thanks again.

Tom.

For $35k you should be able to find a decent driver with some careful shopping. Some of the best cars get sold through the Healey clubs and never reach the open market. I'd invite you to join the Austin-Healey Club of New England as we have a number of members in southern NH and the North Shore of Massachusetts. We're planning a large Healey event known as the Healey Seaside Summit in Beverly, MA at which we'll have about 70 cars, so you could come up with a few leads there. See our website for membership and Summit details: https://www.ahca-newengland.org/ Also, contact Bob Abbott at British Car R&R in Ipswich, MA. He usually knows some cars for sale:http://www.britishcarrandr.com/
