Ed was a "barn find" in Lodi Calif. By appearance it looked like it had been sitting, like so many others. since the 1970's. The last time Ed was registered was May 1977. My belief is at around that time things started needing repair and many people simply did not want to put any money into a car that was worth in the neighborhood of $300. So they parked it in a shed, barn or in the back of the garage. Then the owner gets old and sick and his family clears things out and sells the forgotten little bugeye.
