Purchased in the mid-90s as a flatbed wrecker full of parts. Car had been a dedicated race car since early on, and crashed often, but it wasn't rusty. Rear wheel arches had been cut out, many roll bar holes, an infinite number of dents,

3 year DIY restoration down to bare shell, built 1275 engine w/ ribcase 'box, front discs, etc etc.

What a fantastic 62, a great rescue and rebuild story too. I too own a Sprite with innumerable holes drilled into it! I love the rear guards over the tyre look of the later Sprites
