A question for the knowledgeable amongst us...

1275 motor, AFAIK it's bone stock but with a Mallory dual point, no vacuum unit, front SU vacuum port blocked.

What is the suggested static timing??
Or
Suggestions as to how to set the timing "by ear"!

Carbs are set per the book, great idle, misfiring at 3000rpm+
