You are very fortunate because I spoke with plenty of enclosed carriers and they are slammed and are all saying up to 6 weeks to get picked up. My move was complicated because it's something like $1250 just to make a roundtrip on the ferry with a car carrier so they had to have a car to deliver before they could schedule mine to be picked up. Then it had to pass customs so it took 5 weeks. Now it's en route and I'm hoping it won't be unduly delayed. Good luck with your transport!

If the original poster is still looking for a transport company, I have used Maresca's Auto Transportation NUMEROUS times, with both pristine & non-running__in one case, non-ROLLING*__cars, and have ALWAYS been pleased with their courtesy, and timely pickup and deliveries.
I deal with Mike Barone directly (561) 409 9011. Dropping my name as referring you won't get you a higher price, and may even help shuffle you into the line sooner
* 1967 MGB GT from Arizona to SW Florida, requiring extra handling, and STILL ONLY COST $800.00. This was just last December, and the whole process (of buying the bodyshell AND getting it shipped to me) barely took 7 or 8 days.

Hi, I was finally able to read the recent posts.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner; but, we have had six inches of rain the last few days and our internet was down. It just came back up about 15 minutes ago.
To Jeff F, you are truely fortunate to call and get a pickup within 4 days. I called them and was given a much longer pickup period. The car is in Ohio and they said shipping between major cities can go fairly quickly. However, in their opinion, there are no major cities in Ohio and it would be a much longer wait. As with most companies that act as shipping brokers, you don't have much (any) information about the company they contract to transport your car. They appear to be a great company and hope you are driving your car soon.
EDIT: Jeff, just saw your latest post. Glad everything worked out for you! I am envious and hope our shipping problem will also.
Hi Patrick, the car is going to the DFW area. My wife and I just joined NTAH and know you by name, although we have not met previously. We are going to Granbury (maybe, with a car) and will start attending meetings and drives as they are scheduled.
BTW, we ordered a hard top from Nick 10 days ago and hope to find someone nearby who is familiar with their often demanding/difficult installation. Nick said that shipping to the United States is problematic today and told me about recent problems that hopefully have now been resolved.
Hi Randy, I will call him today!
We want to thank everyone kind enough to offer ideas and suggestions.
Regards, Bill

Bill.....My car arrived safe and sound yesterday morning, one day ahead of the original schedule. Very courteous and helpful driver. All in all a good experience and everything happened sooner than they had originally predicted.
Might be noteworthy that they gave me the same song about no major cities in Iowa so could not guarantee anything, but they'd do their best. Brokers are always a leap of faith, but unlike other brokers, these guys do not collect a penny until they contract the load with a shipper and they claim to only do business with well rated shippers that they know and trust.
Worked well in my case. I would not hesitate to ship with them again.

Had good luck recently with https://intercitylines.com/ shipping a car to Florida.
