Free length of Front Springs?

Hi Folks,

I am attempting to convert a pile of parts into a 1958 bugeye. The pile contained two sets of front springs and one set is 9 1/2" long and the other 9 7/8"long. Both sets are the same diameter and have 7 free coils.

Does anyone out there happen to know the free length of early (July 58) bugeye Sprites.
