Mechanically, technically and electronically minded, I have fun tinkering with any aspects of these. My job is in IT, so it's an extension of this. Married to a wonderful woman, 2 fantastic kids, OK, Joe Average I guess, but LOVE my life.

I STILL HAVE NOT GIVEN UP. I'm still throwing bits of money at the spares requirement, for when I eventually get the body back. BUT, since I got my spares from Victoria British, the work has continued with renewed vigour !!! The front drivers' side suspension is now all stripped, and rubbers are currently being made and replaced, but I'm a bit stumped as to what colour to paint these bits... all other colours have fallen off, and the only colour left is the original silvery colour!! So I'm just...

I got my car from a friend who had let the car go for about 15 years, as it gave him LOTS of trouble when starting. I was seriously excited when i got it home, but then doubted my sanity when I had a closer look. Lots of work... and I've never re-built any car in my life - that I left to my Dad, but he left, in April 2005, for the great British Car Club in the sky. Now, this project is dedicated to him... and he's got a lot to answer for. I find that I am spending lots of time talking to him,...
