Completed all repairs and any major issues. Clean reliable daily driver now. Very solid and reasonably rust-free car. Great for a full restore, if owner was inclined. New fuel tank, fuel pump, all lines. New single size 26 12V battery. Complete new engine overhaul and totally rebuilt, with approx. 500 miles on break-in so far. New radiator, new oil cooler. Electronic distributor. Carbs totally rebuilt by professional, all springs, rods, bushings, etc. Replaced worn steering components and front springs. New windshield. Pulled axles, replaced bearings and seals. All new brakes, cylinders, calipers and pads on all four, Sandblasted and inspected (5) steel wheels, powder coated silver, new 165/80R15 tires. Has original blue convertible top removed, but included. Parrish Plastics fiberglass hard top included. Located in Idaho Falls Idaho. Will trailer and deliver to new owner within 500 miles, included. $16,000 firm
Barn find, laid up in a closed building in 1989. Purchased from the original owner, who signed over the title. Licensed for Idaho. Has a couple minor dents or dings, no rust to speak of and even the brown upholstery is still in good condition. Aftermarket fiberglass hardtop and soft top. All tires still inflated and good. They did a lube/oil/filter on it, disconnected the fuel line and ran the gas out of the carbs, Radiator is full and was protected to -30 degrees, and till looks like it could be started tomorrow.
Unfortunately, moisture ate out the gas tank. I have a new tank and electronic fuel pump, along with a new windshield glass to put in.
Have a complete 68 1800cc MGB motor with headers and 4 synchro transmission with it also.
Planing to finish repairs and get on the road this summer.
