Fuel line routing for BJ8

Wondering if the group can share some photos of the fuel line routing especially forward of the firewall. I saved the original (though badly degraded) fuel line, but it snapped in storage. I'm bending a new line but I've clearly missed something.

Hi Lee,
I swapped out the hard line for some stainless braided line because it was easier for me.
The hard line got flattened slightly at some point so after installing a new Fuel Pump I changed everything so I could
use AN fittings instead of rubber hose and hose clamps.
I never liked the idea of the hard line running under the chassis rail so I moved it up and inside the frame to protect it
as much as possible.

Thank you for your reply! I have thought of going with braided line as well. This BJ8 came with an a Facet electronic fuel pump, so the stock hard lines and rubber connecter lines were already a tangled mess.

The fuel line technically is installed slightly above the bottom of the frame rail. The P clips that hold the line are oriented with the loop up and the screw is installed near the edge of the rail holding the line against the side of the rail. Also rubber line, even wire braid covered line is an item that needs to be replaced periodically.
The fuel line is the easiest of all of the hard lines to replicate. In the early 90’s when I restored my car quality new lines so I made all of them.
Back to the original question. I wish I could supply some pictures but right now a friend is driving my car back to N.C. from Conclave and I am sitting here at the Blue Harbor waiting until tomorrow when another friend is coming to pick me up in a private jet for the ride home. I fell at the track last Sunday and really screwed up my back.

I'm sure the hard line is preferred but I had to try something different.
I am aware of the longevity of the braided hose.
I had a 1967 Jaguar 3.8 S-Type and used that from the hard line to the carbs.
After being off the road for many years I wanted to get it started but when I turned on the Fuel Pump
gas just poured out right through the sides of the lines and the steel braided casing !!!!!
Needless to say, I'll be keeping an eye on that hose.
