Well I'm at it again. total teardown and repaint. Made the mistake of using the duplicolor ready to spray paint. Total junk. I decided to do some other mods as well. changed up the rear valance. fixing all the body work that I did quickly last time. Don't see this being finished anytime soon.

Making Some Progress

I has been a year and a half. I have made progress, but not where I wanted to be. All the major body work is done. Well all the welding and replacing anyway, have a little more filler work to do to finish. I have painted the under neath, and the trunk and engine compartments. I painted the interior, aand dash. I have reinsalkled the dash and some of the stuff under the hood. As soon as the clutch kit gets here this week, I will satrt putting the drive line back in. I don't think I'll get to drive this year, But am determined to get done this winter.

More Body Work

Many hours later and the innner and outer sills are done on both sides, new floorpans on both sides, and now I am turning my attentin to the rear quarters. I am waiting for the repair pannels to arrive, so I can work out fitting the inner fender patches. I have allready fitted the closing pannel on the drivers side, and am working on the closing pannel on the passenger side. The trunk floor needs a couple more small patches, but I am going to have to wait untill It is back on the suspension to do these. I have left the center section of the floor open for now, to aid in fitting a 5 speed transmition. Time to get back to work!!!!!!!!!!1

Bad Body Work

So I started doing rust repair, and now it will have to be a totyal restoration. I thought I had a pair of weak springs in the back of my sprite. Turns out there was about 300lbs of bondo in each rear quarter. So far I have the drivers side flor innner and outer sills and the footweel all repaired. Started on the Passengers side(all the same parts). Don't think the sprite will see the road this year.
